We wanted to get to know our brand new inreality girls a bit more and see what the lovely lady behind the gorgeous dress was like. So here are the questions we asked Betty and her sometimes surprising answers:

Do you have any children and grandchildren?
Yes I do, 3 daughters aged 35, 37 and 40. I have 9 grandchildren aged from 9 months all the way up to 20 so they keep me very busy! I love having my family around me and I love children – I used to work with children as my job.

What did you used to do?
I’m a retired nursery nurse.

Do you have any pets?
No – I don’t have time for them with my big family! I do like dogs though.

What is your favourite item of clothing?
My favourite item of clothing is always my latest buy, but I do have a soft spot for my dresses, so yes I’d probably say a dress.

Describe your favourite weekend (either at home or away!)
Some of my weekends are spent babysitting my grandchildren, so I do enjoy going out for lunch with my friends on a Saturday and having a lazy Sunday just relaxing, reading or catching up on TV.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?
I enjoy walking and reading in my spare time. It helps me relax.

Who are your favourite celebrities?
Westlife

What are your favourite TV programmes?
I love catching up on the Soaps, so Coronation Street, Emmerdale and I also like Spooks and detective programmes.

My living room where I relax and unwind.
